Today we will see the grant that has been granted to companies for Digital Transformation.
Grants are a form of funding provided by the government to organizations, companies and individuals to support projects and activities in different fields such as cultural, social, and scientific, among others. These funds are granted with the aim of fostering community development and improving people’s quality of life.
It is for this reason that the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation has published Order ETD/1345/2022, of December 28, which approves the regulatory bases and makes the call for 2022 for the granting of aid to SMEs for the hiring of Digital Transformation professionals within the framework of the Digital Spain Agenda 2026.
The objective of this grant is to help companies partially finance the salary costs derived from hiring experts in digital transformation, known as “Agents of Change”. These experts have extensive experience and knowledge in implementing digital technologies and strategies that can help companies modernize and adapt to today’s rapidly changing market.
The grant seeks to support companies on their path to digital transformation and improve their competitiveness in an increasingly digital world.
To apply for a grant, it is necessary to follow a specific process that includes the submission of an application and the evaluation of the application by the competent authorities. The deadline to apply for the grant is limited in time and opens from April 25 to a maximum of 3 months. It is essential to keep this date in mind to avoid missing the opportunity to access it.
The grant to hire “Agents of Change” is limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget of 121 million euros is exhausted. The aid provided will be of a maximum of 1,000 euros per month and may be up to 20,000 euros maximum, for a maximum consecutive period of 20 months.
It is important to note that the subsidy is not a gift or a loan, but has a specific purpose and is subject to conditions and restrictions. Among them, we find one that establishes that, in order to be eligible, the Agent of Change must be unemployed, be hired on an indefinite basis, and be registered in the Directory of Agents of Change.
In summary, this grant has been created to partially finance salary costs to hire experts in digital transformation called “Agents of Change”. It is intended exclusively for Spanish SMEs”. It has a budget of 121 million euros which will be delivered successively to the companies that apply for it.
